Fishing deposits are $400 USD per person.

Fishing deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to reservations for the following year!

Fishing rates are based on parties of 4. Please add $150 per person if 3. Please add $225 per person if 2. Please add $325 if solo. All rates are in US funds.

Youth discount (10 and under): 30% off.

We accept cash, cheques, e-transfer or PayPal. Please note that PayPal does charge for this convenience (approx 2.4%).

Flight Details

We do not have control over the weather. We do not refund due to weather delays.

Aircraft Weight Allowance: 1,240 lbs (560kg) includes:

• • Body weight & personal gear
  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Fishing tackle
  • Liquids
  • Ice
  • Generators
  • Chain saws
  • Batteries
  • Etc…

Smaller boxes, duffels, coolers will fit where larger containers might require an extra flight even when not overweight.

Duffels, coolers & boxes must not exceed 32″ in length x 20″ in width/height. Rods no longer than 72″ and removed from large carrying tubes prior to your flight.

Cans only, NO bottled beer. A case (24) of can beer/pop weighs 22 lbs. The charter service determines rates based on the price of aviation fuel + unexpected rises in operational costs: Charter rates are not etched in stone and subject to change!

A party of, one, two, four or twenty etc. must adhere to the same 100lbs/person gear weight limit (125lbs if you’re cooking for yourself). If you are overweight &/or bulk out, an extra flight is required.

If an extra flight is required, it will cost an additional $795.

Extras & Good-to-knows

In support of current conservation practices, Canadian Airventure’s encourages guests to abide by the Ontario Conservation License limit. With this in mind, Canadian Airventures includes the conservation license in your regular rate package!

But, please pick up your fishing licenses prior to flying in. Thanks!

Non-residents under 18 may angle without a license if accompanied by a licensed family member. Any fish caught will legally be part of the catch and possession limit of the person who holds the license.

Licenses, groceries, liquid refreshments, fly dope etc… are all available in Chapleau.

CHAPLEAU Ontario is the Gateway to the World’s Largest Game Preserve. Healthy forests, lakes, rivers & streams, wildlife, bird-life, plant-life & let’s not forget mosquitoes/black flies, consider Chapleau, as home.
